TuneSKI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the TuneSKI app ("TuneSKI", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it to connect to and diagnose personal watercraft. Gen-Tune is committed to keeping your data private. In short: TuneSKI keeps your data on your device and does not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use third-party tracking.

Information the app uses
TuneSKI is designed to work locally on your device. It uses the following, only while you are actively using the relevant features:

• Bluetooth: Used to connect to your watercraft's control module so the app can read live engine data and diagnostic information, including while the screen is off during a recording session. Bluetooth is used solely for communicating with the hardware and is not used to identify or track you.

• Location (GPS): Used only during a performance test to measure speed and distance. Location is accessed only while the app is open on the performance screen, is used to calculate your results, and is not collected in the background or transmitted to us.

• Diagnostic and performance data: Data read from your watercraft (such as trouble codes, sensor readings, and performance test results) is stored locally on your device so you can view, save, and revisit reports.

Data storage
Reports, logs, settings, and any data the app generates are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your diagnostic data, location, or usage.

Sending reports by email
TuneSKI lets you generate a diagnostic report (PDF) and send it by email at your initiative. When you choose to send a report, the report and the email address you provide are transmitted only to deliver that email. This happens only when you actively choose to send a report.

What we do NOT do
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not use third-party advertising networks.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Children's privacy
TuneSKI is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices
You can revoke the app's Bluetooth or Location permissions at any time in your device's Settings. Because data is stored locally, deleting the app removes the data it created on your device.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
